If you have a web-enabled phone, you have safe, convenient access to your Affinity accounts through affinityfcu.org. There's no activation required if you're already an Affinity Online Banking user!* However, you are required to sign in to Online Banking and activate your phone in order to send and receive text messages. Consider these scenarios to learn how Affinity Mobile Banking and Text Message Banking can help you save time.
The Lunch Outing
Locate an ATM, Check Your Balance, Transfer Funds
You're meeting a friend for lunch in a neighborhood across town when you remember the cafe only accepts cash payments. You wonder where the closest Affinity ATM is located.
Locate the nearest surcharge-free ATM.
- Log in to your accounts at affinityfcu.org using your mobile phone.
- Select "Locations" at the bottom of the page.
- Enter the city and state or ZIP code where you would like to search, then click/touch "Search."
Check your current balance in a snap, and transfer funds, if needed.
- Log in to your accounts at affinityfcu.org using your mobile phone.
- View your available account balances.
- To use the Quick Transfer feature, enter the amount to transfer and select which accounts you will transfer from and to.
The Family Vacation
Pay Bills, Receive Text Alerts
Your family is on the road to visit a theme park a few states away. When you stop to refuel, your spouse asks if you prepaid the landscaper to mow the lawn while you're gone. You didn't.
Make a payment quickly and easily.
- Log in to your accounts at affinityfcu.org using your mobile phone.
- Select the Bill Pay tab at the top of the screen.
- Select the payee name.
- Enter a dollar amount.
- Confirm the pay date or enter a new pay date.
- Click/touch the Pay button.
You've activated your mobile phone via Online Banking at affinityfcu.org for Text Message Banking. You're at the theme park and want to make sure you don't go over your budget on food and souvenirs.
Receive text alerts about your account activity.
You can text BAL to 454545 for your primary account balance or BAL ALL for all account balances. If your balance is low, you can also make transfers between your accounts with a simple "trans" command.1
Not only is Mobile Banking easy to use from just about anywhere, it's a secure way to access your Affinity accounts. "Mobile phones currently aren't as susceptible to malware that can steal password information," notes Jim Wilcox, Assistant Vice President, Risk Administration at Affinity. "When you log in through a secure Internet browser, you still need to enter your Online Banking member ID and password to gain account access."
