Have a question about Affinity's Online Statements? Check out the list below for the answers to some of the most common questions our members have.

How do I enroll?
To get started with Online Statements, simply log in to Internet Home Banking and visit the Products & Services section. Click the Online Statements button - when you access this for the first time, you will be presented with the Online Statement Agreement. To start receiving your member and/or credit card statements online, select "Accept" and move on to the next step. Enter your email address for notification emails, and click "Next Step" to review your information and accept the disclosures. Please note that by clicking "Accept," you agree to receive your periodic member and/or credit card statements online through Affinity's Internet Home Banking platform, waiving receipt of statements via US mail.

Do I need to be an Internet Home Banking user?
Yes. Only registered users of Internet Home Banking can take advantage of Online Statements.

As an Internet Home Banking user, am I automatically signed up to receive Online Statements?
No. Online Statements are available only to those members who choose to receive their statements online by enrolling in the service.

Is there a fee for the Online Statement service?
There is no charge - Affinity's Online Statement service is free!

Once I have signed up, how do I view my statements online?
To view your online member and/or credit card statements, log in to Internet Home Banking and visit the Products & Services section and click on the Online Statements button. A list of available statements will be displayed on the screen that opens; past statements can be selected using the drop-down menu that appears. Statements are available in three formats:

  • PNG: An image of your statement for quick viewing with limited navigation.
  • PDF: Offered in Adobe Acrobat, featuring the best fidelity, print and search features.
  • HTML: Easy online viewing with analysis and navigation benefits.
Please note that Online Statements are not "live" data, and cannot be downloaded into financial software packages such as Quicken or Microsoft Money.

What is the difference between Online Statements and the account history that I currently see in Internet Home Banking?
The account history is provided as a tool to help you reconcile your accounts. Your history is updated daily to provide an up-to-the-minute view of account transactions. The Online Statement, on the other hand, is an exact image of the printed statement you would normally receive in the mail. It is the official record of your account activty and is considered legal proof of your account.

Will I still receive my paper statement?
By electing to use the Online Statement service, you agree to discontinue receiving your paper statements in the mail. Your paper statements will no longer be mailed to you. Of course, you can always print your Online Statements as needed.

Will the Online Statement look like my paper statement?
Yes, the Online Statement will look exactly like the paper statement.

When will I begin to see my statements once I enroll?
Your member statement will be available online after the 5th of the month following your enrollment. For credit card users, your credit card statement will be available monthly, based on when you receive your existing paper statement.

How will I be notified when my statement is available?
An email notification will be sent to you when your statement is available for viewing. An active email address is required to receive notification of your Online Statement's availability.

  • You must supply an email address as part of signing up for either member or credit card Online Statements.
  • The email address currently supplied appears at the bottom of the Online Statements main page. If you need to update your email address, click the "Change" button underneath the existing address.
  • Your statement notification will be sent to the email address that appears here. Affinity is not responsible for any incorrect or invalid email addresses.

How do I change the email address where my statement notification is being sent?
To change your current email address, or if you are unsure of what is on record, check the "Internet Banking and Statement Notification Email" at the bottom of the Online Statements main page. You may update your notification email address by updating your primary Home Banking email address, and synchronizing it with Online Statments.

Will my email address be sold or distributed?
No. Your privacy is one of our top priorities, and as such we will never sell or distribute your name or email address to anyone. For further information, please review our Privacy Statement.

How long will my statements be available for viewing?
A total of 24 months of history will be available for viewing as your statements accumulate.

Do I need special software to view the new Online Statement?
No. Your Online Statements are provided in three formats: PNG, PDF, and HTML. Viewing the PDF option requires Adobe Acrobat Reader. Most computers are sold with this software already installed; however, if you do not have the Reader, you can download it for free.
