Enhanced
Login Security

Your online security has always been our top priority. Affinity's Enhanced Login Security goes beyond member ID and password verification to provide an additional level of protection against unauthorized access to your accounts.

What is
Enhanced
Login Security?
Questions? Be sure and see our Enhanced Login Security FAQ - it may provide the answers you need.

Enhanced Login Security adds an extra layer of security protection to the Internet Home Banking login process. Instead of entering just your Member ID and Password when you log in, this system prompts you to do two things:

  • Establish challenge questions for identification verification.
  • Register computers frequently used to log in to Internet Home Banking.

Setting up Enhanced Login Security is easy - simply follow the steps as required when you log in to Internet Home Banking. Once you have completed the initial setup, the next time you log in from that computer, it will automatically be recognized and you will only need to enter your Member ID and Password. Or, if you log in from an unregistered computer, you will only need to answer your challenge questions.

Why Use
Enhanced
Login Security?

On October 12, 2005, the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC), the regulators overseeing banks and credit unions, communicated that passwords alone will no longer be acceptable as the sole means of achieving online security. All financial institutions needed to comply with the terms of the FFIEC guidance by the end of 2006.

In addition to complying with this regulatory requirement, Enhanced Login Security serves the best interests of our members. This additional security measure will help to further minimize fraudulent access to online accounts.

As technology advances and new ways to protect your privacy are developed, you can trust Affinity to adopt the most effective security measures for your protection.
