To monitor the status of your online transaction, access your account through Online Deposit, and click "deposit details." Once the actual check has been received by Affinity, it is removed from Online Deposit and will no longer appear on the deposit detail page. |
Forget to Record Your Session Number?
You can still get the number before mailing your checks by reviewing your online transaction history inside of Online Banking. Simply go to the Account Summary page and select your Affinity checking account.
Your Endorsement is Important
Proper endorsement is required and recommended for your safety. Sign the back of each check before you deposit it. Your endorsement may be handwritten in ink, rubber stamped, printed or typed, in the 1 1/2" space designated on the back of the check.
As a general rule, items to be deposited must be endorsed by whomever is listed as the payee on the "Pay to the order of" line on the check.
Affinity also recommends you include "For Deposit Only" following your endorsement signature. "For Deposit Only" is considered a restrictive endorsement and protects you in the event your check falls into the wrong hands.
Unacceptable Deposit Items
Online deposits of the nature described below will result in the immediate reversal of the items from your Affinity checking account and may result in the suspension of the Online Deposit service.
- Altered Checks
An altered check is any check that contains evidence of a change (correction fluid, crossed out amounts, etc.) to information on the face of the check. An incomplete item is any item that does not contain signatures of the maker, endorsement signatures, or is missing any of the information required during key-entry in an online deposit session. - Inconsistent Dollar Amounts

The online deposit of any item stamped with a "non-negotiable" watermark is PROHIBITED.
