Savvy Savers Club
The Savvy Savers Club is for children 12 and under. If the child is already a member of Affinity, a $0.25 deposit is required. If the child is not a member, a regular Affinity Savings Account must also be opened with an initial deposit of $5. On the first day of the month following the 13th birthday, the Savvy Savers Account will be closed and the balance automatically transferred to the child's regular Affinity Savings Account or, if you choose, to an Affinity Connect Account (for children 13–17).Savvy Savers Rewards
As your Savvy Savers account balance increases, so does the opportunity to receive cash rewards.1 The following charts show what you can receive in your first year and each year thereafter:

Build on Their Savings with Certificate Accounts
Once the balance in the child's Savvy Savers Account reaches $500.25, he or she can earn even more dividends by transferring $500 to a Certificate Account. To maximize both your dividends and cash award, we suggest you:- Accumulate $1,000 in the child's Savvy Savers Account before transferring the $500 to a Certificate Account.
- Open a Certificate Account in February after the eligible cash award has been deposited into the account.

Due to Federal Regulation D, there is a limit on the number of electronic transfers you may make each month from your Savings Accounts. During any month, you may not post more than six electronic withdrawals or transfers to another account of yours or to a third party by means of a preauthorized or automatic transfer or telephonic order or instruction, check, draft, debit card, if applicable, or similar order to a third party. There is no limit to the number of in-person withdrawals you may make. Checks/electronic withdrawals/transactions paid in excess of six per month will be charged a $25 fee each.
